k so I'm watchin this Diablo 3 ad over and over cause they are usin' it for all these videos I'm watchin' and...

wtf is up with the girl. Who the hell is that. Why is there some dumb chick making scared faces? Is she an important character? I really hope not. Isn't Diablo sposed to be about the PC going and becoming some super boss motherfucker and owning Diablo and the rest of the denizens of hell? I really hope that there aren't other characters who take a big chunk of screen time.

She appears in both the Black Soulstone Cinematic and the Opening Cinematic; she's the niece of Deckard Cain, Leah. I assume she'll act as a fount of knowledge like Cain did - at least until Cain reappears - since that's what the Black Soulstone Cinematic hints at.

Leah is the niece of decard cain, but more importantly, she is the daughter of Adria the witch from D1 AND the hero that you played in D1. So after he tried to contain diablo, he stayed in tristram for a few weeks and visitied aydrias shack a few times. Leah is their child.

I don't care about who she is in the storyline, I care about whether or not she usurps the spotlight. If she's like Cain from D2, where he is entirely on the side except for quests, etc. then I'm okay with that.

well, to be specific, I'm afraid it will do that and do it poorly. I'm all for great stories with great characters, but, call me crazy, I just don't trust blizzard with that sort of thing.

SHISHKABOB I know the whole plot of Diablo 3 at this point and in my opinion, blizzard has done a pretty good job turning my dick into steel. So don't be worried.
