Yeah my guild is slowly working through ICC, but tbh I'm so burnt out on WoW...
I'd like to see the encounter, and keep farming frosties, but bleh. Getting bored. I'd never really raided before (some in TBC) but it seems like all but only a few encounters now are just reusing the same annoying mechanics. Tank swaps being the most annoying. I love to tank, and when I have to watch my threat so I don't take the mob back and wipe us it gets old. Also just bored in general with bear tanking. There are times I feel useless especially with ranged mobs I can't do anything about unless my arcane bombs are off cooldown and they're vulnerable to them. Looking forward to the dreamwalker fight though, looks to be really fun.

im 10/12 in icc10 atm, haven't really been in any good groups so far. (well, I was in one, but then the leaders account got hacked and things have been on hold)
Personally I like tanking quite a bit as a DK. I can understand why bear tanking would be a pain tho |

Oddly enough, my guild only uses warriors/paladins as tanks.
The Lich King doesn't require any tank swapping on either difficulty or raid size, though. As a whole, TBC raiding was much better than Wrath raiding. The only bright spots in Wrath were Putricide, Arthas, and most of Ulduar. |

I also have a DK Tank, but my guild has like an overload of tanks; I actually stopped raiding before i let my time run out -- let a pally take my 10m spot for the most part, though I still tanked the 25m runs (have some work, so don't need the distraction). The DK is rather fun, but for some reason he feels A LOT squishier than the bear. I love Frost tanking though, especially in heroics. 6k+ gs players don't even pull off me and my DK is barely at 5k I think. I think I enjoy it mostly because of how different it is from my bear, especially the cool downs like IBF or AMS. I wish Blood was better with AoE threat, I'd just stay as blood. Though recently I've been gearing/specing him more for solo'ing old content. My Bear can nearly solo most of Karazahn (the dragon being the most difficult/not worth it). Anyway... I just can't wait for Cataclysm. Wish I could've run through Ulduar. It looks so fun, and guildies tell me it was/still is really fun. I was actually working on soloing Flame Leviathan before my time ran out; hehe. |
